Speaking of Dawn, what happened to her? I haven’t seen her tonight.. or last night.. or the night before. Did you lose your little sis B?

No, I think she got sucked into her dorm. Will said Giles assigned some long essay on the do’s and don’ts of ‘Being a Watcher’. She called last night before she fell asleep to let me know she was just busy and hadn’t died.

Sighing she rubbed the back of her neck ” I don’t know if her having to reassure you that she isn’t dead is funny or sad Just Gotta love our line of work huh? I’m just glad I am on the action end of things and not the book end.”

“Well, it could be taken either way I guess. I choose to find it funny.” she shrugged and laughed, “But I have to agree with you on being glad about being on the action side. I didn’t like the book work when I was in school. Now that I’m on the teaching end, I can’t imagine having to go through all of it again. The girls get it way easier than we did, don’t they?”

I think it’s safe to assume you have. It was bound to happen some time. Plus, I think I’ve done a little rubbing off on you, miss wild side. You stick around sometimes. Long enough for us to have this, dare I say it, friendship.

What can I say? Free rent.. You keep the cupboards stocked with good food.. I have my own room that doesn’t stink like who knows what, like some of the hotels I have stayed in. So all around Its a nice arrangement. The whole, having another chick with superpowers as a roommate isn’t bad also.
